Prospective Member Q&A
-
Our passion is to provide the best advisory service utilizing both business analytics and technical skills. While there are plenty of consulting clubs on campus, our founders realized there was a lack of focus on technology consulting, especially those associated with the School of Information. We wanted to bridge that gap and provide students with the experience and skills necessary to succeed in a career in technology consulting.
-
Our recruitment cycle opens at the beginning of every semester. Come to our recruitment events to find out if Reach is a fit for you, and submit your application by the deadline!
-
We look for freshman and sophomores who have a passion for technology or want to go into tech consulting after graduation. We do not require prior experience. All we look for is dedication and willingness to learn more.
-
Time commitment varies by the role you take on in Reach. We expect our analysts to commit at least 2 hours per week to project work, including team meetings, client communication, and individual tasks. Members are expected to attend weekly club-wide meetings as well as weekly professional development session for new members.
-
The recruitment process after applications includes behavioral and technical interviews. Behavioral interviews act as a way for us to get to know more about you and your experiences working on a project or in a team setting. Technical interviews give us insight into your problem-solving skills and your thought process when faced with a difficult issue.
